Search Engine marketing is a primary way for a company's web site to be searched and recognized on the Internet. Industry specific keywords must be entered into the code of web sites for the various search engines to explore, find, and recognize. Submitting a web site every 4-6 weeks to various search engines such as Yahoo.com, Altavista.com, Google.com, AskJeeves.com, and more will increase your chances of consistently being found when searched for on the Internet. Utopia Net developed a keyword insertion application for the staff at Converse College to use within their web site pages. This application allowed the staff to efficiently insert keywords to hundreds of web site pages with a few keystrokes and just a few minutes of their time.

Utopia Net is satisfying that need by supplying uContent, a user-friendly web content management system. uContent allows the staff at Hamrick's to easily edit weekly specials/promotions, and add an unlimited number of product pages and photos. The staff at Hamrick's can make a change during the week and have it appear on Sunday when their ads come out in the newspaper. This way, everyone gets the sale information at the same time and it is not necessary for the Hamrick's staff to make weekend changes. One important feature that is included, but optional to enable, allows their web site to be membership based. This feature supplies Hamrick's with valuable information from a growing number of web site visitors for the purpose of marketing. Visitors also have the option to sign up at www.hamricks.com and be entered into a contest to win a gift card.

Project Details: To Enhance visibility to Search Engines, this site uses 4 unique domain names, in-turn, this appears to be 4 different web sites. Now Environmental Services has 4 times the chance of being recognized! Upon completion of the site, related keywords to the site were submitted to various search engines. Utopia Net designed custom graphics, javascripted menus, and navigational interfaces. To facilitate efficient communication, Utopia Net built 3 email forms, which allows visitors to contact Environmental Services. These are not your average forms however; these forms use javascript validation, which means a visitor must input their first and last name, 10 digit phone number, and FULL email address if they wish to contact Environmental Services. The programmed validation ensures the recipient will know who filled out the form.

Project Details: When Liberty Uniform Mfg. Co., Inc., needed an online commerce system to accept orders from clients, including Pinkerton Security, they turned to Utopia Net. Pinkerton Security is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sweden based Securitas, which has over 230,000 employees in more than 32 countries. Burns Security is also a part of the Securitas group. Liberty Uniform is currently supplying uniforms to all of Pinkerton Security within the United States. To efficiently handle the worldwide operation, Liberty needed a State-of-the-Art system. Liberty Uniform needed a secure system that would accept orders 7 days a week 24 hours a day from customers, plus provide timely customer service information. The system that Utopia Net developed is a secure Internet based system. The Database-driven site allows the update of pricing, sizing, and photos of the merchandise without using html. It has order tracking, and has the ability to manage users and user security. The system also has full online ordering history that updates instantly with each order. The customers have been overwhelmingly impressed. In addition, Liberty Uniform has improved efficiency by increasing the accuracy of order fulfillment and increased speed of delivery. The next phase of this project will integrate the commerce system into Liberty Uniforms' existing legacy accounting system.
